first time eating spaghetti

i'll admit - it's been awhile since i fed a baby spaghetti. (i'm impressed i remembered to strip her down to a diaper. ) In the beginning, i tried to feed her one spoonful at a time. but that was taking forever and i wanted to multi-task, so i figured she was old enough to feed herself while i finished up other things.

i started by just giving her a small bowl of noodles...

things were going well until she became frustrated when she couldn't get the noodles in her mouth by 'drinking' them out of the bowl.

So, she threw the bowl (with an evil little chuckle) showing it who was boss.

Not wanting to clean more spaghetti off the walls and floor, i decided to not give her the bowl back. at first, she tried the "hey, come on, give me another chance" routine.

when that didn't work, she resorted to what usually works with daddy.... the tears. oh, so sad.

when she still didn't get the bowl back, she tried to win me over with her best smooch.

but i was strong, i did not give in. accepting defeat, she sat back with a pile of noodles on her tray and contemplated her next "for the love moment".

That is by far one of the funniest things I have ever seen. I can't believe you were able to catch all of those faces with your camera.

i figured she'd get pretty messy with the noodles, so i had my camera close by. once i took the bowl away, she started making the funniest faces and sounds - i was really lucky to have caught some of them.

Okay, I know Owen should be at that level. I mean, he is a few weeks older then Raegan, but I am still spoon feeding him baby food. How do I transition? Oh-did I mention that I love that post? Because I do. Those faces are adorable.

Love the play by play. She reminds me of Noah. :) Oh, and the best part of the blog was her sauce-smeared face -- bath time!
